CCV campus in Bennington, VT, serves the training and education
needs of the community through a variety of non-credit workshops,
mini-courses, and professional continuing education opportunities.
The noncredit offerings may include such activities as resume
writing, exercise programs, computer workshops, gardening, and
CPR training. Professional continuing education opportunities
offered throughout the state include business management and supervision
skills. The CCV Course List, published each semester, describes
the noncredit offerings available at each site.
New York students who live near Bennington County and attend the
Community College of Vermont no longer have to pay out-of-state
tuition rates. CCV's tuition is $112 per academic credit for in-state
students and is typically $227 per credit for students across
the border. A new "good neighbor" policy has been instituted
that will allow New York students residing in counties neighboring
Bennington County to pay 150% of instate rates, rather than the
usual double rate. The policy was approved by the Vermont State
College's board of trustees in June.
